What is all this ironing about?

I had a survey among french-speaking students and me, and we found out something interesting. In Belgium/France/frenchspeakingcountries it is common for the mother of the family (family of 3 people) to iron ALL clothes (t-shirts, trousers, boxers, pullovers ++) for the family members. But strangely enough not the socks. According to real information from my roommates mother (speaking with her on SKYPE) these are the facts:
1. Mothers spend 3 hours a week ironing
2. Her mother did the same thing (how far back does this go? Did Eve iron Adams clothes?)
3. The other reason for ironing is to make it more organized in the closet
4. The third reason for ironing is that Norway and french-speaking countries have different habits

So, do your mother iron ALL your clothes (except for the socks)? Write country of origin, name of mother and yes/no + other comments in the comments-field. Dekuju moc.

Todays french word: Yes, for sure - oui sessur (spoken form)

PM-bar - Germany,Austrian and Italian presentation

I have to write a brief summary first - and then to the juicy pictures. Things you can do when you are at a party (or you should NOT do?):
1. Try to order a taxi to Norway (vanocni sleva...) - costs 10 000 CZK + gasoline. It is not expencive, but the taxidrivers laughed alot, so we had fun.
2. Dance like a maniac.
3. Give a free beer to everyone pointing in the right direction towards Norway
4. Buy a bottle of wine...
5. Get persuaded to promise to run a MARATHON in PRAGUE in MAY when you haven`t moved your feet for 4 years.

But one thing is for sure - HAVE FUN WITH YOUR FRIENDS always work (and just ignore the strange looks on other peoples face when you do the norwegian or english dance in the middle of the dancefloor)

I`m trying to learn the famous dance from Brosjan to my friends - and it looks good!

Happy-smiling people! Notice the new fashion in Prague on the last picture, something to start in Norway also.

Weird faces seen at PM-bar

A bunch of happy people, and the last picture of an expert in listening to wine.

And as always - comments are mostly welcome, and pictures will be removed if you contact me :)

Post-it mail it!

One of my strange thoughts was like this: Is it possible send a post-it-note to Norway? And today I got the answer - yes.

Any other strange ideas? Please leave a note

Annes birthday & first SNOW & Stripclub in Prague

Anne was sich, but we had a great time anyway. Hope you`re better today.

We went to Lucerna Music Bar

First SNOW in Prague - pretty nice, me = home :)

Afterwards this guy guided us to a strip-club :)
Pretty good night I must say, first snow in Prague and first time in a strip-club. And I did not end the night in a non-stop bar.

Country-presentation of NOR,SWE and FIN

...and ofcourse Norway had to show how to make "Karsk"....

..Finland had a great movie and Santa Claus with free Vodka!

Norwegian fenalår,brunost, reinsdyr, melkesjokolade and Swedish kaviar, knekkebrød and snus got eaten as fast as fresh-baked bread. Someone dared to try the Karsk too - and everyone enjoyed it (well, someone thought it was a bit strong - but let us just say everyone loved it).

This is the expression of me when I discovered a Waterpipe! And some friends trying the stuff. Water is healthy - and smoking waterpipe with peach-taste have to be even more healthy.

This is me asking for the price of the Waterpipe, only to discover it is very cheap (I do not remember the price...) and thinking I have to get one of those... or two.... or three...

A widescreenphoto to show how mutch fun we had.

So, you have seen the pictures and want to have as fun as we had? Just follow these simple steps:
a) Gather alot of cool people
b) Have a digital-camera to document everything
c) Wake up the day after and your foot and stomach hurts, but you do not remember why
d) Wake up next day and find out you do not have your camera anymore - only to discover it have been "confiscated" by the International office, to "censor" some of the pictures
e) Pay 4 times as mutch for a taxi home, when you could have taken the tram
f) Stay inside for some days, so perhaps people do not tell you stories about how drunk you where
g) Cut fenalår for several hours (while drinking) and NOT get cut!

To top it off - had alot of fun and I am really looking forward for tomorrows math between Czech Republic and Norway. See you there.

Computer lock VS Calculating castle

A week ago I tried to go to different shops to buy a computer lock ... I thought. As I tried to pronounce it: POČITAČ ZÁMEK I think most of them the first time heard: POČITAT ZÁMEK before they made a strange face to me,bended my pronounciation to the correct form in their brain and finally gave me an approving smile as a gift of that they finally understood.

Computer .... lock
VS
Calculating castle

Note: Although I finally ended up buying a computer-lock for 1000 CZK (250 NOK) - it would be a real bargain to have a real and fully functional calculating castle for the same price.
